Hello! Today's demo lesson is Parts of a plant. Here is the big idea, one step at a time:
- Most plants have roots, a stem, leaves, flowers and fruits. Each part has a job.
- Roots hold the plant in the soil and take in water. The stem holds the plant up and carries water from the roots to the leaves.
- Leaves make food for the plant using sunlight. Flowers grow into fruits, and fruits hold the seeds that can grow into new plants.
