Food chains

Demo tutor
Hello! Today's demo lesson is Food chains. Here is the big idea, one step at a time:
- A food chain shows who eats whom. The arrows point from the food to the animal that eats it: grass → deer → tiger.
- Every food chain starts with a green plant. Plants make their own food using sunlight, so they are called producers.
- Animals cannot make their own food, so they are called consumers. A deer eats grass, so it is a plant-eater (herbivore). A tiger eats other animals, so it is a meat-eater (carnivore).
